Hi loves!
The season of the pumpkin, warm chai latte, and beautiful turning leaves is at last among us!!
I love fall weather. I feel comfort while I hold my hot tea in both of my hands and love to surround myself in the beautiful foliage on fall runs.

Yet … the fall is also when school really starts picking up. It’s when you have your first essay, commitments pile up, and you feel immersed in the school year.
Do you want to meet your school goals while enjoying life outside of academics? Then, this read is perfect for you!
So, here are my five must-do’s to romanticize and enjoy your fall while slaying your school life 🙂
- Embrace the Fall Theme 🍁🥰☕️
Think about the fall essentials: decor, fall-themed drinks, and halloween. Weave in these
little celebrations of the fall season to help you embrace exactly where you are right now (I say while I sip apple cider out of my pumpkin patterned mug). You deserve to feel joy and satisfaction right now!
So, if you can, do little things that embrace the season around you. That could look like putting a little pumpkin on your desk or getting excited about putting a halloween costume together.

- Romanticize Studying 📚✨✍️
Studying doesn’t have to feel like a drag! It can be an intentional act of self-love when you set the right vibe. Light a candle that smells like cinnamon, grab your comfiest blanket, and turn your desk into a cozy corner. You study because you care!
Try this: FaceTime a friend, and you both do work together—virtual study dates are super motivating! Or, change up your location. Studying in a different spot like a cute café or a library can make a big difference. You’ll feel productive and stylish, all while checking things off your list.

- Work Towards All-Around Goals 🤩✅
Fall is the perfect time to focus not just on school, but on all aspects of who you want to be! What goals do you have outside of academics? Maybe you want to become a more confident speaker, improve your style, or learn how to cook something new.
Create a vision board that represents the “you” you’re working towards. Whether it’s on Pinterest or a physical board, making your goals visual can help you stay motivated while reminding you of all the possibilities that lie ahead. Keep it somewhere you’ll see every day for a little inspiration boost.

- Go Outside 🌿🚶♀️🍁
We still have that perfect fall weather, so take advantage of it! Hot girl walks, runs, or even a simple stroll around your neighborhood can clear your mind and help you refocus.
I find that inspiration often comes to me on walks. Something about disconnecting and slowly moving through the outdoors alongside your thoughts just brings clarity and gratitude. Maybe it’s the same for you! Plus, the fresh air is a much-needed break from all the screen time we have during the school year!

- Cultivate Balance
For the most practical advice, this essential enjoyment of the fall time all boils down to a balance between activities and personal time. To create this balance, it helps to be intentional.
So, when you do have free time (for me mostly on the weekends), schedule something outside of school or extracurricular commitments. I’m talking about taking a self-care evening with a bubble bath and face mask, watching a movie while snuggled under a fuzzy blanket, baking some aromatic cookies, or whatever else brings you joy!
Last week, I made some black tea cookies for a baking club, even though I had tons of work to do. It ended up being SO much fun! Taking a break for joy-filled activities, even if you feel swamped, can do wonders for your mood and motivation.

Remember, you don’t have to wait until everything is “done” to let yourself enjoy life. By weaving small moments of joy and seasonal magic into your routine, you’ll not only survive the fall semester—you’ll thrive in it!
